Optus Aquatic Centre is located on Marine Parade, Southport, Gold Coast QLD 4225.

The Optus Aquatic Centre formerly known as Southport Pool and was established originally in 1964, has been fully redeveloped with a $42 million upgrade as part of a legacy project and joint funding initiative by the Queensland Government and the City of Gold Coast in preparation for GC2018.

The Commonwealth games 2018 will hold the swimming and diving events at this centre. It consists of  six pools, including a new 50 metre 10-lane competition pool, a full suite of diving facilities and a dry dive training pit, fully equipped fitness centre, onsite café and multi-function meeting rooms.

The site tour will consist of the operations manager and pool builders involved with the project.
